Greg Mirams - Director


After graduating from Lincoln University with a Dip in Agriculture and Farm Management, Greg established FECPAK International Ltd in 1993. FECPAK is now used by farmers, researchers and governmental agencies around the world. Products and services include diagnostic tools for managing parasites, facial eczema, accessing drug resistance and measuring phenotypic (genetic) variations within a flock. In 2005 Greg was awarded the Sir Arthur Ward Award, for his efforts in the communication and application of principles of animal production. In December 2006 FECPAK was purchased by PGG Wrightson Ltd. From 2006-09 Greg was a participant in the EU funded Parasol Project, where FECPAK's technology resulted in farmers lowering their chemical inputs and improving their animal performance in a European farming environment. In July 2010 Greg purchased FECPAK back from PGG Wrightson and formed a new company Techion Group Ltd. Techion, meaning technology in action, has been established to work with industry to continue to develop new technology products and ensure they are delivering on farm.
